The story of this picture:

I grew some Zinnia seeds in my back yard. They turned out to thrive spectactularly.
In fact, they reached 4 feet tall. The butterflies loved them.
This height allowed me to photograph this butterfly from below.

Comments about the picture:

The camera allowed me to achieve an out of focus, muted background that emphasizes the detail in the wings.
