The story of this picture:
My passenger and I were exploring
Yellowstone on my motorcycle when we encountered a traffic backup.
As you may know, all the roads through Yellowstone are two lane and
low speed limits.
As we got to the point where people were stopping before continuing,
we saw the cause.
This big fellow was grazing right next to the road ignoring the
cars.
I was somewhat concerned passing him, we were about 10-12 feet away.
If he was of a mind to, he could reach us in about two bounds.
On the motorcycle, we were pretty exposed, and at slow speed not
very maneuverable,
And my motocycle is somewhat louder than a car.
If he chose to give us a hard time, it might not have been good.
He chose to ignore us. My companion got this great shot as we
passed by. |
