The story of this picture:

I was enrolled in a hiking class at West Valley College, Saratoga, California.
The class was comprised of a number of field trips to hike in various local parks.
On this occasion we met in Los Gatos and hiked up the hill to the reservoir.
I guess, being used to people around, the pelican just sat lazily while I took his photo
