Bright Daffodil

The story of this picture:

I love tending to and enjoying the flowers in my front and back yards.
For me, the blooming of daffodils announce that Spring has finally, fully arrived.

Once in a while, one is treated to a perfect subject in spectacular lighting.
I was lucky enought to encounter and to recognize such an opportunity as captured here.
This seems to be a very nearly perfect daffodil with striking lighting.

In my composing the picture:

There is no need to dilute the focus of attention with anything else in this picture than the flower itself.
The ambient lighting was such that I was easily able to darken the background
and still leave the flower brilliantly lit in the sunshine
