The story of this picture:
I was motorcycling through the Canadian
Rockies.
Heading east from Vancouver, BC with the destination being Calgary,
AB
I had a passenger on the pillion (back seat).who happened to be an
excellent photographer.
So I gave her my camera and asked her to take photos.
She took many. Of which this is one
of the best.
This is between Revstoke and Goldeen, Alberta
Notice that she caught the side of my helmet and the corner of the
windshield.
An iteresting feature of the Canadian Rockies is that there are
sections
of very old, eroded, rounded mountains such as the foreground in
this photo, and
other sections of very new, rugged, angular mountain peaks as
visible in the distance.
This pattern of one type of mountain then the other repeats several
times on the way.

In my composing the picture:
This picture is comprised of all lines running to the vanishing point,
the far end of the road.
The slopes of the mountains, the sides of the road, even the traffic
lines all converge in the distance.
Seeming to dictate where one must go.
I got this picture of the Canadian Rockies Alberta,
Canada on August 10, 2013.
