Lake Louise

This is one of My Very Favorite Photos Because it Speaks to Me

I captured this picture of Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada on august 11, 2013.

The story of this picture:

I was motorcycling through the Canadian Rockies.
Heading east from Vancouver, BC with the destination being Calgary, AB
Of course, a stop at Lake Louise was a "Must Do.".

The waters are famously turquoise with the rock dust ground on the mountain by the Galciers.

In my composing the picture:

I love the semi-symetrical geometry of this photo.
Everything converges into the center of the picture as the source .
One of the highlights for me is the line of row boats along the left shore adding an additional line.

Of course, most people who visit there have a similar photo.
But the weather and the sunshine this day were so perfect and this was my first visit to Lake Louise.
